And 13 Makes a Baker's Dozen
Wow. It’s been 90 days already. 90 days since when you may ask yourself? 90 Days since I decided to try and get my act together. Well, I didn’t accomplish everything I set out to do but I did make a lot of progress and I’m pretty proud of myself for what I have accomplished. I’m developing a drawing habit, a game development habit, I’ve lost weight, I’m being financially smart, I read every day and all of this while being a caretaker to an elderly dementia patient. Now it’s time to set my sights on the next 90 days.
For the past three weeks, I feel like I’ve been figuratively walking with drawing and game development. Now I have to pick up the pace and start running because that’s where the real progress comes. So, I have to buckle down and go all in on the online classes that have been collecting virtual dust since I picked them up. I also need to get going earlier and go for longer stretches. I have a tiny, minuscule, cosmic speck of hope that I might make it and be okay. If I do, we’ll have a party at my house. Pizza and cake all around!
Here's to a fresh 90 days of progress and growth. With each new day I get a little more excited about learning and practicing. Which is all together a new sensation for me. Maybe a lazy bum can change their socks. I don't think that's a saying but I'm just trying stuff out and seeing what sticks. Like those old sock against a wall. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I greatly appreciate it! I hope you all click on by next week. Take care!
