 I’ve got nothing this week. Not that I’ve had much previously but this week is especially not much. Allergies are still hammering away on my tubes and what not. Been feeling pretty low otherwise but still forging on and working as best I can. Hasn’t been great but it’s all about progress.

I’ve been reading Walt Disney’s biography. It inspires me in some ways. Such as working hard and committing to something you’re passionate about will be rewarding and pay off. Then there’s a part of my, probably the cynical part, that gets a little bitter. There’s no way that someone like Walt Disney could happen again. By which I mean being basically uneducated, forming a company and becoming a success the way he did. Banks wouldn’t loan money to an unknown like they did with him and these days a company like the Walt Disney Corporation would crush someone like Walt Disney!

I’ve also heard Steven Spielberg’s story about getting off of the Universal Tram Tour and wandering around the lot the whole day and learning about movies. If anyone did that today, they’d be arrested and banned from the park! Now a days it seems like you already have to be connected before you leave the womb to make anything of yourself. I don’t know. Sometimes it all seems so pointless. The game has completely changed and I haven’t the slightest clue what the rules are.

Like I said, I’ve got nothing and I’m feeling pretty low. I’m sorry for the down beat post but I do appreciate you clicking by.Take care.

Stuck... Stuck... Stuck...

     It’s funny that I don’t know how to start writing a blog because I never know how to start anything and then I don’t start anything. Which is probably the reason I’m stuck. They say just start. I’d like to meet they someday. They sound so wise and learned. Anyway, don’t over think it and just start. So here I am starting and not trying to overthink it… Too much.      Here’s the short version. I’ve just turned 44. I got laid off a month and a half ago. I’m at home, helping to take care of my father. I’ve never done anything worthwhile because I’m too afraid of “getting it wrong” and now nothing is right. I’m full of the anxiety, self-doubt and caffeine. And 12 Makes a Dozen

This is my twelfth post. That’s like twelve more than I’ve ever done before. Sure, some other folks might be a little bit smarter than I am. Bigger and stronger too. But none of them will love writing this blog the way I do. It’s me and you. Since Disney is so litigious, I would like to say that I have no idea who a “Toy Story” is or what a Randy Newman be. Regardless, I’m still plugging away at drawing and game making. I’m pretty happy that my boxes aren’t as awful as they could be for starting up drawing after a such long time. I can’t remember if I’ve brought this up before and I’m obviously too lazy to look at my previous posts. Don’t want to skew the metrics.
